Infosys Prize 2025: The Infosys Science Foundation (ISF) has announced the winners of the Infosys Prize 2025. The award recognizes six scientists, including Prakrit language scholar Andrew Ollett.
The award recognizes the exceptional contributions of young scientists and researchers who have made significant advances in science, innovation, and humanities. Each awardee will receive US$100,000, a gold medal, and a citation.

Andrew Ollett – The Infosys Science Foundation has selected Andrew Ollett for the Infosys Prize in the Humanities and Social Sciences category.
Ollett is an Associate Professor in the Department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago. He is known for his linguistic prowess and knowledge. He has made extensive contributions to the study of Sanskrit, Prakrit, Kannada, Tamil, Old Javanese, and Chinese.
Anjana Badrinarayanan: The Infosys Science Foundation has nominated Anjana Badrinarayanan for the award in the Life Sciences category.
Anjana is an Associate Professor at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru. She has been honored in the Life Sciences category for her pioneering contributions to understanding the mechanisms of genome maintenance and repair.
Nikhil Agarwal: The Infosys Science Foundation has selected Nikhil Agarwal for the award in the Economics category. He is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He will be honored for his pioneering work on market design.
Sushant Sachdeva: The Infosys Science Foundation has selected Sushant Sachdeva in the Engineering and Computer Science category. He is a professor of engineering and computer science at the University of Toronto. He has been selected for his research in mathematical optimization.
Karthish Manthiram: The Infosys Science Foundation has selected Karthish Manthiram in the field of materials science. He is a professor of chemical engineering at the California Institute of Technology. He has been honored for developing electrochemical methods that enable sustainable chemical production through renewable energy.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee: The Infosys Science Foundation has selected Sabyasachi Mukherjee in the Mathematics category. He is an Associate in the School of Mathematics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. He was selected for his research linking complex dynamics and Kleinian group theory.
