The long-awaited Tata Harrier and Safari petrol will go on sale on December 9, while the next-generation Kia Seltos will launch globally on December 10, 2025. Let's take you through the upcoming car launches.

Tata Sierra

The Tata Sierra will initially be available only in petrol and diesel engine options, with an electric variant arriving in early 2026. Tata is expected to use its all-new 1.5-liter naturally aspirated and 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engines, as well as a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Like other Tata models, the Sierra will also feature several new features and technologies.

Mahindra XEV 9S

The Mahindra XEV 9S is the electric version of the XUV700 SUV, sharing many design elements, platform, components, and powertrain with the XEV 9e.

Official teasers confirm that the SUV will feature triple screens, a two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, sliding second-row seats, and a new gear lever.

Maruti E Vitara

Like the export model, the India-spec Maruti eVitara will be available in two battery pack options – 49kWh and 61kWh. The dual-motor and AWD setup will be reserved for the larger 61kWh battery pack, while the single-motor and FWD configuration will come as standard. The 49kWh FWD, 61kWh FWD, and 61kWh AWD variants will offer a range of 344 km, 428 km, and 394 km, respectively.

Tata Harrier/Safari Petrol

Following the launch of the Sierra, Tata will also launch petrol variants of the Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs. Both models will feature a 1.5-liter TGDi (turbocharged, direct injection) petrol engine producing 170 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. These petrol variants are not expected to feature any cosmetic changes or feature upgrades.

New Kia Seltos

The next-generation Kia Seltos will officially launch in the second week of December 2025. While retaining the current engine setup, the SUV will feature several major changes inside and out.

According to media reports, the 2026 Kia Seltos 1.5-liter diesel variant could receive a new 7-speed automatic gearbox alongside the existing 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
