Revision
- Most students will have completed their preparations for the JEE Main 2026 session. So, now students should focus on revision. Use short notes and flashcards for effective revision.
- Solve chapter-wise tests. Maintain an error log to identify and correct recurring mistakes.
- Focus on solving problems rather than rereading theory.
- Revise reactions, main concepts and formulas at least twice a week.
Mock Test Strategy
- Take at least one mock test every week. As you get closer to the exam, increase the number and take at least 3 to 4 mock tests per week.
- After each mock test, analyse the accuracy in answering questions, time spent per question, topic with most mistakes.
- Practice completing mock tests in 2 hours and 45 minutes. After that, take time to review.
- Balancing your preparation for board exams
- Prepare for the JEE Main exam while also preparing for the 12th board exams. Many of the 12th grade topics match the JEE Main syllabus.
- Use NCERT textbooks for your preparation. This is especially beneficial in Chemistry.
- Allocate at least 25% of your JEE Main preparation time to board exam preparation.
This is necessary for better scores
- To score better, it's important to avoid using too many online sources. Instead, rely on your primary study materials.
- Write down one formula and one mistake in your notebook every day. Repeat this every week.
- Make a habit of regular revision.
- Avoid burnout – take short breaks, eat well and maintain a healthy routine.
